Happy 5th to Lexie

Well yesterday was Alexa's 5th birthday, she had a lot of fun and was in a good mood all day, she only threw one fit during her party I wouldn't let her open her presents right away.

She started the day out by playing some games on the computer like she usually does, then we had chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, Jason and I put a candle on hers to wish her a happy birthday before anyone else and she thought that was pretty neat. :)

All of the snacks at her party were made by her (except for the chips of course) we dipped pretzels in chocolate, and made monkey munch and cupcakes. Her and Alyssa decorated the cupcakes together and then they hung crepe paper and ribbon on the walls mostly in one spot but that's ok they had fun doing it.

She got a lot of presents, mostly Hannah Montana and High School Musical things, but that is what she really likes right now. Jason and I got her a box of makeup that plays music, and a wooden jewelry box now that her ears are pierced and she's starting to collect some real bracelets and necklaces.

Jason's mom usually makes our cakes for us, but since his Grandma has been in the hospital she didn't have time this year so Alexa picked cupcakes instead. Her are the pictures of her blowing them out....and a picture of her fake smile that I hate.


And later that night we played with the present that Kayla gave her, more Play-Doh since the colors we had were starting to dry out. :)
